A wide choice was available to our students to chose the State in Australia, the univerity and the course of study.
We had, one scholarship winner
Naveendran Rajendran won a Full Tuition Fee scholarship from University of Adelaide for a Bachelor of Science degree . He was a student of Asian International School who had performed extremely well in the GCE Advanced level examination obtaining 4 ‘A’ Grades in Mathematics, Chemistry,Biology and Physics with excellent marks.
Choice of State and University
Victoria State was the most popular with 14 students choosing University of Melbourne and 4 students choosing Swinburne University of Technology. University of Adelaide in South Australia and Australian National University in Canberra were also popular choices. Students also selected the University of Sydney, in Sydney, NSW and University of Queensland in Brisbane, QLD for studies

Undergraduate
Selection of Courses ranged from Degrees in Commerce and Finance to Economic to Engineering degrees mostly in the feilds of Mechanical, Civil, Software, Electrical and Material Engineering. In Sciences , Pure Science, Biomedical Science, Medical Science were the popular choices.Students also selected courses in Environment , Arts and Psychology and Design.
Postgraduate
We also had 6 students doing Masters programmes of which 4 were in the feild of Commerce & Finance , Business and Economics and 2 students selected the Masters in Engineering.
Edlocate had students from international, private and public schools from all parts of Sri Lanka.
Edlocate had students from International Schools in Colombo - Asian International School, Colombo International School, Stafford International School, British School, Lyceum International and Overseas School of Colombo,
Students from Private schools were from Musaues College, Colombo 7, St. Thomas’s College, Mt Lavinia & Holy Family Convent , Bambalapitiya whilst those from public schools were from Royal College, Colombo 7 and some outstation schools
