| New honours component for the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science |
| QUT is excited to announce that they now offer an honours component for the Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science (XN50). By choosing to undertake an honours year at the end of their course, students advance their knowledge, skills and competencies when working in sporting environments in Australia and around the world. Importantly, the honours year will give students the opportunity to complete an additional 220 hours of work integrated learning placement to better prepare them for a career in sport and exercise science. There is no specific course page for this honours year as students cannot directly apply for the honours program; they will be invited to join by the faculty after completion of their first two years of the course, depending on their GPA. As a top 100 institution in the world for sports related subjects, QUT is the ideal place for students to study sport and exercise science (QS World University Rankings by Subject, 2025). |
| Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) English requirements lowered |
| The English requirement for entry into the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) (CS47) has been lowered. The new requirement is IELTS 6.5 with no sub-score less than 6. The course page on the QUT website has been updated. Current international offers conditional on English language for 2026 or later will be reviewed and updated where applicable. |
